It was a cold night and the wind was bitter and cold. It brought a chill to a certain young girl’s spine as she strolled in the park by herself. Her (h/l) (h/c) slowly swaying with the wind. Her (e/c) eyes glided from left to right as she scanned her surroundings.
“Mommy?” She called. Tears slowly formed in her eyes as she sat on a bench and began crying for her mother. Like all small children do at one point or another, she escaped her parent’s grasp as they took a walk. She had seen a balloon in the sky and wanted to get at it, however when she lost sight of it she realized her parents were not with her.
An echoing scream slowly broke out through the quiet air and the girl widened her eyes and got up. Spying an alley way where the scream had emitted, the girl became curious and slowly walked over to it and peeked around the corner.
“Hello?” She asked in a broad voice and waited for an answer. When no one answered her, she walked forward and deeper into the alley “Hello?” she called again, still walking. She stopped when she stepped in a puddle of some liquid and the smell of fresh blood filled her nose. She cringed but kept walking, wanting to find the person who screamed. “Helloo?” She called once again.
“Hi there little one~” A masculine voice answered from behind her. This caused the girl to whirl around and she came face to face with a very tall clown. But this clown wasn’t like any of the ones she had seen, this clown was black and white with stripes and feathers, not to mention black lips, a pointy nose and claws! ‘He looks funny for a clown.’ The girl thought and tilted her head as well as narrowing her eyes at him, trying to think why this clown looks so strange. Clowns are usually colorful, bright, happy. He was the opposite.
“Where are your colors?” She asked him, her eyes filled with curiosity.
“Excuse me?” He replied, shocked.
The child puffed out her cheeks, did she really have to repeat herself? She said it loud enough. “Where are your colors mister?” She asked once again. “Clowns are supposed to be colorful and happy, like a rainbow!” She added on, throwing her arms out to the side of her and twirling around.
At this, the clown kneeled down in front of the young one ‘Why isn’t she afraid of me?’ he thought staring at her. His lips curled into a small smile, enhancing his features and showing off his pointy teeth.
“What pointy teeth you have!” The girl giggled and pointed to the clown’s teeth.
“Isn’t that from a storybook?” He questioned her, tilting his head oddly.
“Yep! Mommy read it for me last night!” She smiled brightly.
“I see…what’s your name, kid?” He replied softly.
“(y/n), and don’t call me kid!” She said puffing out her cheeks once again but her smile soon followed once again. “What about you?”
“Laughing Jack. But you can call me Jack~” He said as he stood up. “I like you.” He said putting his hands on his hips and laughed. He then held out one hand to her “Would you like to take a walk?”
“Okay!” She said cheerfully and took the clown’s hand. As he led her out of the alleyway, (y/n)’s gaze drifted to his shirt which had some red blotches on it. The smell of blood then drifted back into her nose and she grew a fearful expression. “Jack?” She said tugging on his arm.
“Yes?”
“Are you okay?”
This confused the black haired being and he raised an eyebrow. “Yes? Why?”
“Your shirt..”
“My shirt?” He questioned looking down at his shirt. His silver eyes then widened.
“Are you okay?” She asked him once again, stopping and her eyes glazed over with tears.
This caused Jack to stop and grow a confused face. No one had ever cared about him and he was stunned, he opened his mouth to say something, but shut it.
“Please be okay.” (y/n) said and continued tugging at his arm, her eyes slowly dripping with tears. She was worried about her new friend. She didn’t want to lose him too.
Jack then realized that she was crying and snatched the girl up, cradling her softly. “Ssh..” He cooed into her ear. “It’s not Jack’s blood.” He said. “I promise.”
At this, the girl wrapped her arms around his neck and closed her eyes. “A-Are you sure?” she choked out in between sobs.
“Yes I’m sure.” He cooed again. “It was a bad person’s blood.” He added.
“Alright..” She replied still crying and hugged his neck tighter. Jack sighed and began to sing to her.
“All around the mulberry bush, the monkey chased the weasel~” He smiled.
“The monkey thought ‘twas all in good fun~” His smile widened.
“Till’ pop! Goes the weasel!~”

PART 9:
When I woke up I was in a room I didn’t recognize. To be completely honest, it looked a little like an infirmary of some kind. I tried to sit, but my head hurt too much and I collapsed immediately. The sound of me falling back on the pillows was enough to wake Jane up, who was sleeping on a chair next to my bed.
“____, are you ok?” she asked worriedly.
I smiled softly at her and nodded. I really was, for some reason the thought of L.J and Jeff being here made me happy. I frowned, that wasn’t right, was it? I was supposed to want away from them, wasn’t I? God, my life was becoming so confusing! Jane saw

PART 3
I sighed and put my mask upright and winced. I was ok with wearing it if Jack took me out on a killing spree, but when he left me alone on the carnival? Really? How much chance was there that someone would see me here, and even if they did, would they really assume I was the murderer? Another week had passed and I had learned that Jack was overprotective, annoyingly so. After a little longer walking around aimlessly, I spot the funhouse. Yeah, fun. When you’re the only one there, a carnival isn’t all that interesting as I hoped.
When I walked past a large mirror, I stopped and backtracked. Since it was summer, I wore a (f/

Laughing Jack x Reader chapter 8
Chapter 8:
You stayed outside, hearing how Laughing Jack and Jeff bicker like a married couple. You sighed "Did he almost say..." you blushed, but then you shook your head in denial "No! I can't be... He might have somebody else"
You just wanted to go back inside, but you heard something coming over the bushes. A familiar song. You entered to the forest, without looking back at the tent, following the music. Laughing Jack went outside "Now, if you excuse me, I want to be with my future wife. Erm... Where did she..." He paused for a moment and hears the song "Oh No!"
Laughing Jack said as he ran into the forest. You kept following the song
I think I got his song wrong.
Anyways..I've had this sitting around in my Sta.sh and thought I would submit it before getting off and going onto my hiatus.
Enjoy.
